Building on the success of the popular Aero Pro Drive GT, the Aero Storm Gt is designed for players wanting a higher degree of precision. The Aero Storm GT has a constant 21mm cross section for enhanced feel and control. It retains the Aeromodular throat section common to all racquets in the Aero range. The increased torsional stiffness from this throat design greatly enhances sweetspot size.
The Aero Storm GT also features Babolat's GT technology which incorporates a hybrid of braided carbon fibers and tungsten filaments throughout the entire racquet. Tungsten strengthens the frame to reduce torque for greater precision (Babolat claims 26% more precision compared to non-GT racquets).
Babolat continues to utilize the Cortex vibration filter at the top of the handle. Cortex is used in several of Babolat's players racquets to enhance feel by cancelling only the 2 highest vibration frequencies. Only those frequencies that enhance feel are permitted to pass through the Cortex filter.
The Aero Storm features an open 16 x 20 string pattern for easy access to spin.
The Babolat Aero Storm provides a comfortable response at impact. Spin is easy to generate and power is plentiful for skilled players. This is the ideal choice for any player who is wanting a high degree of comfort in a control oriented, spin friendly frame.
